Still Life: Girl In Dingo Boots |
When I wear these boots I feel like a cowgirl from the old West. Like
a rough and tough, rock´em sock´em man´s woman - a good old girl. And I feel strong.
like a prairie mother who has thrown off her disguise, tossed her bonnet in the sand.
I can open doors with my smile, shoot bandits with my six-gun eyes.
With these boots I can strut down dusty ghost-town alleys, kick my way
out of any side-street scuffle, and still cross saloon-maid legs unscratched.
I could stop the sunset, if I wanted to. And, with one rigid finger speed up the wind.
When I wear these boots I feel like a red-headed rebel. These are the boots my father won´t buy. |
